At the fish pond, the locals breed their own fish for food.

Apart from having their fish fresh from the pond, they also have other livestock’s as well.

Other than that, they also plant peppers, fruits, paddy and rubbers.
Here’s Minwei holding his breath while lifting a sack of 60KG pepper (very heavy). At the price of RM8 per kilogram, just imagine how much one can earn if he has 10 sacks of these.

You see, the live of these people are simple, they want meat, and they keep some animals or go hunting. They want crop, spices or vegetables, they plant some. They want durian, they can just wait for any to drop from the forest. So simple yet self-sufficient. Now, who needs money if you already have everything you need around you?
