Sarawak'06(Part 7: Kuching)

Our trip is ended with a short tour around the City of Kuching. Well, Kuching is quite a common spot or tourist, and nice pictures of the historical city can easily be found through various source. Below are just a few places we visited in Kuching before our departure.

In the day, we tour around the city on foot. There are lots of hisotrical buildings here.
The Old Court.
For this, we only can take pictures from the outside.
Museum Sarawak.
Again, entrance is free and better than Museum Negara...oooppzzz..
The old fort at river front....and many more.
Apart from historical buildings, there are also some busy streets.
Chinese streets.Indian Streets. And lots of places selling souviniers at the river front.
I remember seeing some of this stones in Perak. They've got quite a number in Kuching too.
So, at night, we had dinner. Nothing unusual about the tasty dinner. What's unusual is this:
Yes. This is the most innovative way of setting mosquito coils I've ever seen so far. Just to make sure that it is really innovative, I asked our representative from Pahang, Suzy and from Perak Minwei to have a look. They too have never seen this before. Hehe...
The symbol of Kuching-Cats. Kuching definately has some romantic places at night. Look at this river front. Awww...
And the is the same old fort we pass-by during the day. It has got a different feel at night doesn't it?

Taman Sahabat. Another nice place for dating. It even has a nice tea house by the lake.

Hence, I shall end the Sarawak'06 series with a word of appreciation to our host, Pastor Michael Nelson and his family for making this trip a success their hospitality.

Pastor Michael Nelson, his wife, daughter, Suzy and Minwei at our last dinner for the trip.
