It so happened that we need to fill a form upon leaving the college. Like everyone else, I abided by the rules and proceed to the office to complete the form. But when I see the form, a passport-size photo is required. Doubting if I still had any left with me, I asked the clerk if the photo can be exempted. Just as I expected, the clerk told me that the photo is a “MUST”.

After searching high and low in my room, I still couldn’t find any of the photos. I was thinking: taking another set of passport-size photos at a photo saloon will be a big hustle to me. As I need to go all the way out of campus, jus tot take the photo, come back again and go there again to get my photos in a few hours. Nah! ….. It was too must of work for a few photos(first of all, the campus is big...and it is a long way to get out from it, secondly..the weather is hot...agree?). And then, a stroke of genius strikes me when I was looking at the piece of blue wall in my room.

And so, without further ado, I put on my shirt and asked my friend (Ah Lun, who happened to linger in my room) to help me take a photo of myself with my NOKIA 7610. Immediately he burst into laughter knowing of what I attempt to do. However after several tries, he did manage to take a “professional standard” passport-size photo of me.
Soon, we transfer the photo from my cell phone to a laptop for resizing. The scale of the photo fits in perfectly for the measurement of a passport-size photo. Then arrange as much of the photo into an A4 Microsoft word document, which fits in 20 of them. Finally, print them out in on a photo paper, cut one out, and paste it on the form. Wa-lah!

Now, who needs to go to a photo saloon for a passport-size photo? Do-It-Yourself. It’s free, fast and the product is satisfying. Haha~
