Work and Travel USA'07 (4th of July)

4th of July is the Independence Day for the Americans. At the town Newburgh, they celebrate this event by having carnivals and fireworks display. We are fortunate enough to be able to join in the celebration as Mr. and Mrs. Kopaskie were kind enough to invite us along to watch the fireworks.

A huge crowd waiting for the fireworks display to begin.

It was pretty much like how we celebrate our "Hari Merdeka" back in Malaysia. And of course, traffic jams, food stalls, crowds of people and noises will be part of it.

There are also huge air inflated slides. Poh Ching, with a cotton candy.

Me and Mr. and Mrs. John Kopaskie.

All of their 3 sons are voluntary firemen of Newburgh, so was Mr. John Kopaskie when he was young. Why? Because Mr. John Kopaskie's father was one of the founders of this Fire Rescue team.

As the sky grew darker, people are getting more excited.

And finally, the fireworks display.

I did't expect i can go to watch the fire work in states. Thanks for Mr. and Mrs. Kopaskie willing to take us together. They are really kindly. Mr. Kopaskie is emosional but he is funny in deed. There were some stalls that sold foods but quite expensive. We have a wonderful night at the independence day of America's.

There were another fire work happening at 7 july '07; the last day in platekill of me and hanjin. Any still Mr. and Mrs. Kopaskie offered to take us there. The Fire work was really cool and much more beautiful than last time; just in front of my eyes. And those were special. I would never forget that night.
