We Live Because We Believe

Ever wonder why religions exist? From the Paleolithic age, our fellow cavemen began to worship rocks, trees and etc. This religion is later know as animism. Don't they have nothing better to do other than worshiping stones and leaves??? This though came to me one day, when I suddenly think of why am I believing in God. The answer is simply because I need to. That's when I realised that we, humans need to believe in something just to stay alive. However, not everyone believe in religions or God. So what kept them alive? The answer is very simple. They believe in their career, family or even their wealth. That explains why some people commit suicide. There are many reasons why people kill themselves. Some kill themselves over bankruptcy, some over the lost of their loved ones. The blow is just too big for them to face that they just want to end their lives. They lost their reason to live, they lost that "something" that they believe in.Hence, in my opinion, it'll be wiser for me to believe in something, or should I say someone that's eternal, everlasting, that will never forsake me. That somebody is none other than God. Just in case you're wondering what are you believing in, here's something that everyone believes in. All of us believe that tomorrow is waiting for us. That's what kept us alive. We believe.
